PFF INDONESIA

About Us

The People Fish and Forest (PFF) Indonesia specialises in forest landscape restoration and conservation to support community livelihoods that depend on healthy ecosystems, particularly aquaculture, fisheries, and agriculture.

PFF Indonesia was established in 2015 by a group of environmental professionals who believe that there is always a win-win solution between conservation and utilization of ecosystems that will benefit both environment and livelihoods.

To reach its aims, PFF Indonesia is working with the Government, communities, and private sectors, to improve aquaculture, fisheries, and agricultural practises through action research, policies development, and direct assistance to community and private sectors.

PFF Indonesia staffs and researchers have long working experiences, manage complex environmental projects with government, private sectors, and communities, publish scientific reports in high-quality journals, and have established national and international networks in conservation and wise use of ecosystems.
